Search by metadata

The metadata search client allows exploring stored information in the organization database by means of direct search (by character chains) or search by category (exploring a theme tree).

Direct search provides the user the option of searching by using alphanumeric filters (key words, categories and scales) and/or temporary ones in accordance with the date of data creation. Search by categories arranges information metadata in accordance with thematic datasets created in the database.

In both cases the user is offered several options: on the one hand it is possible to locate layers in the cartographic viewer and on the other it is possible to consult information metadata (Spanish Core Metadata - ISO 19115). Finally it is possible to download files (.shp) associated to interest information if they are available.
